THE BOLT CHOOSES DONEGAL MAN TO CELEBRATE 200M OLYMPIC GOLD

What is it with Usain Bolt and his attraction to all things Donegal?

His agent Ricky Simms comes from Milford and the world’s fastest man says he wants to get here soon.

And when Bolt he won his 200 metre Olympic gold medal last night, the first person he ran to was a Raphoe man.

Darren O’Dea was wearing a ‘Bolt’ t-shirt.

Usain gave Darren a huge hug and then posed for pictures – cheering and pointing to Darren’s t-shirt

Darren’s friends watching back home in Donegal were still in shock today.

“We recorded it and now it’s on the internet for all to see,” said one pal, “Darren was thrilled.”

The incident came just hours after Finn Valley’s Patsy McGonagle revealed he had asked Bolt to open the new track at the Stranorlar club.
