BRAINY CONOR BAGS 600 POINTS IN LEAVING CERT

Coláiste Ailigh student, Conor O Braonáin, being congratulated by his Principal Micheál Ó Giobúin after gaining the perfect 600 points in this year’s Leaving Certificate.

The principal said 41% of Conor’s classmates got 500 pts or more in what was a great set of results for the school.  Also in our photo is Conor’s proud mum, Mairead.

The school principal added: “Conor excels at everything he does. He is a brilliant writer and has won several national competitions for his writing. He is also a great athlete and musician and we will definitely hear more about him in the future.”

Conor is now off to Trinity to study German and English.
