DDTV VIDEO: CONSERVATIONISTS on the look-out for basking sharks were instead confronted by a spectacular display – from more than 50 dolphins.
The dolphins danced and sped through the waters of Lough Swilly before hanging a right and swimming towards Malin Head.
A pod of approximately 50 Dolphins were spotted in Lough Swilly, by evening they had traveled quite a distance, and were enrolee to Malin Head and onwards.
While at the north end Lough Swilly, the some of the Basking shark team got the chance to shoot some footage and film.
The video we have here features some video footage of the dolphins as they speed through the water.
Towards the end of the footage the team have included some stunning still images.
