Jimmy’s Winning Matches!! What a performance! The Donegal team did the people of Donegal the world over proud on Sunday with their towering performance against Cork in the All-Ireland SFC semi-final. Congratulations to Rory, Kevin, Jim and all the players.
The Seniors and Reserves will take on Gaoth Dobhair in the Park on Sunday in the League. Throw-in times are 1:30pm and 3pm.
We still have no update on Naomh Columba’s protest over our first leg game in Glen in the Junior Championship.
The U21 championship was due to be played this week, with our lads meeting the winner of the Killybegs v Kilcar game on Friday night but it may not go ahead ahead after Donegal’s win.
The Minors will take on Gaoth Dobhair in the Northern Championship semi-final this Wednesday (29th) in the Park. Throw-in at 7pm. Then on Friday, they will take on Aodh Ruadh in the league semi-final in Ballybofey, throw-in again at 7pm.
The U-15 boys will take on Burt in the Northern Board championship quarter-final on Sunday in the Park at 12 noon.
The U14 boys await the Southern Board runner-up in the championship semi-final on Wednesday, Sept. 5th. They will meet either Ardara or N. Conaill in the semi-final.
The U13 Boys begin their League campaigns this Friday evening. The Div. 1 team take on MacCumhaills at home. The Div. 2 team will travel to Milford on Sunday and the Div. 3 team are also at home on Friday to Glenfin, throw-in times for these games to be confirmed.
The U14 girls take on Fanad in the Park next Monday (Sept. 3rd) at 7pm.
The girls U12 county development blitzes are in the Park on Saturday morning.
Plans are being finalised for our World Record Attempt on Sept. 29th in conjunction with all schools in the greater Letterkenny Area. More details will be released in the next week with information packs arriving at schools.
There were two winning tickets in this weeks lotto draw and they win €50 each. The numbers drawn were: 7-10-19-22. Michael Bonner, Crieve Rd and Mary O’Loan, c/o Gerard O’Loan, Lurgy (both Adrian). Next week’s jackpot is €2,300.
