We know many of you are anxious with regards to tickets for the All-Ireland SFC Final on September 23rd. At this point in time, Donegal’s allocation hasn’t been confirmed – it should be sorted early next week assuming the other semi-final doesn’t go to a replay.
As you are probably aware, there will not be enough tickets to guarantee a ticket for all our members, unfortunately. We would certainly be advising people to make use of your contacts around the country to try and secure your ticket. Please note that if you have not paid a Club Membership to St. Eunan’s this year, it is unlikely you have any chance of getting a ticket from the club (the Croke Park deadline for membership was March 31st, 2012).
A sub-committee has been appointed by the Executive to set down the criteria for distributing tickets. This process isn’t 100% perfect – we are aware of that and we know that there will be people that are left disappointed, that is not intentional. We also know there will be people that disagree with the criteria set down, again the system isn’t perfect but we are trying to do our best to get as many tickets as we can for as many members as we can! We will announce the criteria for applying for tickets in the coming days. Until then please do not pester executive members for tickets as we have no details yet.
