DANIEL TEACHES THE WORLD ABOUT THE GAA – AND TIPS DONEGAL FOR ALL-IRELAND SUCCESS!

Daniel O’Donnell and wife Majella have been teaching the world about the GAA.

And not surprisingly the couple have been ranting on about how wonderful their own Donegal is.

Majella has taken to his website and has been telling his millions of fans around the world how her famous husband was over the moon to see his side reach their first final in twenty years.

“Daniel and I went to the All Ireland semi-final Gaelic Football match. This year Donegal were in the semi-final and Daniel was so excited.

“He loves Donegal and its not very often that they have reached the semi-final stage. The day was brilliant to say the least.

“The atmosphere was electric!!! You would have thought it was the final we were at.

“For those of you that don’t know, Gaelic Football is a big thing in Ireland. Each county has a team and they all play against each other until the last team is left.

“The trophy that they win is called the Sam Maguire Cup and every county wants to win it.

“So you would not believe the shouting, gasping, roaring and screaming that went on during the match and that we only me!

“It was so exciting and we were rewarded with a great win for Donegal so we are now in the final. It has been 20 years since Donegal was in the last final, which they won, and before that, they never won it. It has given the county a great lift,” she said.

Majella said she believes the success is down to manager Jim McGuinness.

And she said herself and Daniel plan to be at Croke Park for the final.

“The team of lads that have taken his direction whole heartedly and worked extremely hard to get where they are.

“We wish them all the very best for the final and hopefully I will be there to see them taking home the Sam McGuire Cup. Up Donegal,” she said.
