RUGBY STARS GET DONEGAL WELCOME AT LETTERKENNY RFC

RORY AND PADDY AT LKRFC

IRELAND’S rugby legends were in Co Donegal today – getting a warm welcome from players, staff and fans at Letterkenny Rugby Club.

Above is Rory MacGinty playing at U12s in LKRFC from Gaelscoil Adhamhnain and the famous Paddy Johns Current Dungannon Head Coach and below is Finbar Rafferty from The Glebe Sports Partnership talking to Paddy Johns about the successful joint venture between the Letterkenny Gaels and the Letterkenny Rugby Club.

Paul Wallace said they as visitors were so impressed with the joint venture that they want to come back next year to see the finished premises.

Paul Wallace and Boyd Robinson also agreed to work together in the Coastal Cancer Challenge 2013 to raise funds for Cancer Charity. Paul would like to enter a team from C.R.O.S.S in aid of Cancer Research at St James Hospital.

The stopover at the Glebe was attended by many well wishers including the Mayor of Letterkenny Dessie Larkin and Mayor of Donegal Frank McBrearty as well as the President of the Rugby Club Martin Moylan.
