The nod, the wave, the hello and the hand shake the yearly salutes seen on the Harvest fair day in town. The annual walk up and down to view the stalls, bringing back memories of catapults, water pistols, candy floss and stink bombs. Traditional crafts on show and the farmers market with their fresh produce on sale throughout the town. Almost 200 years of farmers buying and selling animals can still be seen around by the old courthouse. A true traditional day for the thousands of visitors from near and far visiting Glenties.
