Rosses AC
Rosses AC are organising Cross Country races for primary schools in Carrickfinn on Wednesday 19th at 11 am. The age categories are: Under 9 (born 2004/2005) – 600m, Under 11 (born 2002/2003) – 800m, Under 13 (born 2000/2001) – 1000m. Medals for top 20 in each race. All primary schools in Cloughaneely, Gaoth Dobhair and the Rosses invited. Sportshall Athletics will be starting up again in Ionad Spóirt na Rosann in Dungloe on Monday 24th September at 6.45 pm. Fee of €10 for 5 nights. Training on Friday nights from 6pm to 7pm – all welcome. Noel Diver had an excellent run in the Ballyare 10k when he finished 7th in a time of 36:13. There was also good runs by Helen McCready and Deirdre Diver.
