Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Education Charlie McConalogue has congratulated the 2,214 students in Co Donegal who receive their Junior Certificate results today.

The Donegal TD commented, “It’s an exciting day for Junior Cert students and their families right across Donegal. Each and every one of the 2,214 students who sat the exams here in June should be extremely proud of their achievement.

“The Junior Cert is in important step for all young people here as it is their first experience of the state examination system. It can be a nerve-wracking experience taking on formal exams for the first time, and it is a great accomplishment just completing them.

“I want to congratulate all 2,214 Junior Cert students in Donegal and wish them the very best in the remainder of their school career.  Great credit is also due to the parents and teachers who supported them through the exams,” said Deputy McConalogue.
