EXCLUSIVE: A young Donegal man is to appear on Christmas cards for one of America’s biggest television stars after catching her eye.

Craig Magee was minding his own business while on holiday in Hollywood when he accidentally walked onto the set of the Ellen Degeneres Show.

The Letterkenny man walked past Ms DeGeneres’ boulevard Walk of Fame ‘star’ and was interviewed during a live link for her show.

Ms DeGeneres, one of America’s biggest stars, joked that he could donate some cash or his t-shirt to help sponsor her sidewalk star.

The normally chatty host was left almost speechless when the Irish hunk Craig, 25, from Kirskstown, quickly whipped off his t-shirt.

Ellen said “You are my new favourite person. You are fantastic.”

She then asked him to sit down beside her Hollywood star to have his picture taken.

The Ms DeGenres said “That’s my Christmas card.”

Ellen also admired Craig’s t-shirt of Jim Morrisson from The Doors but the Donegal admitted he didn’t know who the iconic singer was.

After his appearance on the show, Craig and girlfriend Jayne McCanny were taken to the Warner Studios in Los Angeles where he met the star.

He also received a goodie bag full of gifts including a Google Tablet computer.

“I still can’t believe I was topless on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Living the dream,” said Craig.
