JOE TO MARRY MAYO SWEETHEART JUST HOURS BEFORE CROKER SHOWDOWN

A Donegal man is crossing enemy lines tomorrow when he marries his Mayo sweetheart – just a couple of days before the All Ireland final.

What makes matters worse is that Joe O’Donnell is a huge Donegal supporter and was even the mascot for the All Ireland team back in 1992.

However Joe has put aside his love of Donegal GAA and will marry Fiona O’Toole at the Radisson Hotel in Sligo tomorrow.

The happy couple are planning to head to Westport for the after-party on Saturday before making it to the big game on Sunday.

Joe’s close friend Thomas Kane said the couple are looking forward to a great weekend and a great start to married life.

However, Thomas said there is only one condition that many of the Donegal guests have agreed to go to the wedding and that’s the guarantee that ‘Jimmy’s Winning Matches’ is played at the reception!
