A crack team of Donegal supporters have staved off the threat of invasion by Mayo supporters ahead of Sunday’s crunch All-Ireland final

We revealed this week how Mayo supporters climbed Donegal’s highest mountain Mt Errigal and planted a Mayo flag at the top.

The supporters even posted a video to You Tube of the raid.

The act of defiance caused a huge stir in Donegal when the Mayo men crossed deep into enemy lines to plant the flag!

However not to be outdone a team of Donegal supporters have also scaled the 2,464 ft peak and removed the flag.

The only thing left of the Mayo flag is the flagpole on a mound of rocks!
