MATCH DAY WEATHER – DON’T FORGET YOUR WELLIES FOR CROKER

FANS staying in Donegal for Sunday’s All-Ireland will have the best of the weather, says Met Eireann.

But Dublin will be hit with heavy showers on Sunday afternoon, so don’t forget those wellies for the big match as Donegal go for an All-Ireland win against Mayo on Sunday.

The rain will move into south Leinster on Saturday night.

Said a Met spokeswoman: “It looks like being a wet final at this stage.

“The rain will become widespread and heavy during Sunday across Munster, Leinster and east Ulster but amounts will be small further west where it’ll stay mostly dry, so Donegal itself will be grand.

“It’ll be mild in a fresh northeast breeze.”

It’s also set to warmer in Donegal – and colder in Dublin.

You see – there is an upside to not having tickets.
