Thomas McKinley and the victorious Donegal squad brought the Sam Maguire cup to Newtown on Thursday evening. The excellent turnout and fine weather contributed to a wonderful occasion and tremendous atmosphere. Thanks to the team for their time spent in Newtown during their hectic schedule on their triumphant tour of the county.

Naomh Colmcille defeated Naomh Ultan at Dunkineely yesterday evening, running out winners by 3-09 to 0-08 in a hard fought match against a side that have always proven difficult opponents. Two goals from Willie Gillespie, and one from the penalty spot from Mark Dowds, helped Naomh Colmcille gain revenge on the only team to have beaten them in the league this year. The result means a win or a draw against Robert Emmets next week will see Naomh Colmcille finish top of Division 4.

Our young u13 team concluded their league campaign with an excellent away win over Red Hughs on Friday.
