SINGER Rory Gallagher’s fame is spreading throughout his adopted home of Lanzarote.
The man behind ‘Jimmy’s Winning Matches’ was the star guest for the baptism of little Daisy Ann Lees this week.
And there was only one song those from England and Ireland wanted to hear!
So Kilcar native Rory can be seen here with a new version: Daisy’s Getting Baptised.
He then finishes off of course with the original more famous song which has had an astonishing 650,000 views on YouTube since it first featured on Donegal Daily eight weeks ago.
Said Rory: “I just want to thank everyone who helped to make the song so successful. I’ve had a great time altogether.”
He’s taking a rest for THAT song for a few weeks, before coming back to Ireland for a tour.
“I’m really looking forward now to the Irish tour and hope to see lots of people there,” he added.
He kicks off the tour on November 10th in Ballybofey.
