Lotto Numbers

This week’s lotto numbers were 5-16-17-21. No jackpot winner. No match three. Two winners drawn get €35 each. Tony McGettigan and Paul Curley. Next weeks jackpot is €4900.

Senior Ladies

Well done to the senior ladies who had a great win over St. Josephs in last Saturdays Ulster Quarter final and thanks to the huge crowd who came out to support them. They are now away to Monaghan champions Donaghmoyne on Saturday at 1pm. It would be a great boost for the girls if we could get a big crowd to make the journey to cheer them on. For anyone intending to travel, take the road for Donaghmoyne off the Carrickmacross by-pass and continue on that road for about half a mile where you’ll see the pitch on the right hand side.

Parish League Finals

The finals of the Parish League took place last Sunday at which there were a number of special guests, namely Sam Maguire and Martin McElhinney. Some great games were played in front of a huge crowd and the performances of all the young players coming through was very impressive. Aidan Cannon arrived with Sam which caused much excitement throughout the crowds and it was great to see so many families being able to get to hold the cup and have pictures taken. Martin McElhinney made the presentations to the players afterwards and the club would like to sincerely and greatly thank Martin for making the effort to come to the finals immediately after playing for his home club of St Michaels in their clash against Four Masters in the Senior Championship.

Conversational Irish Classes

Conversational Irish classes continue every Wednesday  at 7pm in the clubhouse at Moyleview Park. Adults and children welcome. Admission: Adults €2, Children €1. The classes will be for 1.5 hours and refreshments will be provided
