Rosses AC

A number of athletes travelled last Sunday to Rostrevor in Co. Down for the Ulster Even age group cross country. Well done to all. The next 5 sessions for the Sports Hall athletics will commence Monday 12th November – all welcome. Other important date include the November 11th with the Ulster Uneven age group cross country in Killybegs. The evenings are drawing in quick now so we are going to have to change the times for our cross country training sessions very soon. In the meantime however training is as follows: 31st October there will be no cross country training due to it being Halloween. 2nd November onwards training will be from 4.30 – 5.30. The club annul presentation night will be November 21st – more details to follow. The Dublin City Marathon took place on the Bank Holiday Monday just past. Well done to the local athletes who had superb runs in Dublin today. Michael Logue finished in a time of 2:59:40, John Paul Wilson 03:27:13, Eamonn O Donnell 03:39, Helen Mc Cready 03:57:28, Marie Timoney 03:58:44, Conor Hanlon 03:58:44, Kathleen Griffin, Gweedore 04:25:41.
