AMERICAN WOMAN CAUGHT UP IN ERIN SUICIDE TRAGEDY

An unsuspecting young woman in America has become caught up in the Erin Gallagher suicide tragedy.

New Yorker Erin Gallagher has an account on the controversial website ask.fm

It is the same website which the late tragic Donegal teenager of the same name was bullied on.

Now the American woman has been forced to tell friends that she is not the same person.

Ms Gallagher said last night that she has received more than 30 posts asking her account if she was the same Erin Gallagher who took her own life in Ireland.

“Because some girl from Ireland killed herself so they think it’s me…..,” she wrote.

Repeated emails to ask.fm about the controversy had not been returned last night.
