DONEGAL’S GOLDEN ERA WILL BE CUT SHORT WITH MCGUINNESS MOVE – BROLLY

GAA commentator Joe Brolly has said that Donegal will lose manager Jim McGuinness to Celtic.

The media pundit said McGuinness’ talents will be used much more by Celtic as time goes on and he will leave Donegal quicker than expected.

“He is starting off part-time but this will become permanent as he transforms them into a modern, progressive club.

“Dermot Desmond knows a thing or two about good investments. McGuinness will quickly turn out to be one of his best.

“Donegal will not hold onto him in the longer term, so their golden era will be shorter that it might have been,” said Brolly.

And Brolly added that for €150,000 per year, Celtic were “getting an unbelievable bargain.”
