KILLYBEGS have joined Malin as the new boys of Division One next season after a four-point win over Bundoran in the D2 play-off.

Barry Cannon’s first half goal proved to be the difference as the fishermen won by 1-07 to 0-06.

Termon will have to wait for promotion from Division 3. Victory over Buncrana would have secured Division 2 status next season but the sides could only draw – Termon 2-04, Buncrana 0-10.

They now have two games left to leapfrog Carndonagh and secure the title and automatic promotion.

Convoy are the Division 2 County Minor champions after a comprehensive victory over Naomh Columba – 5-11 to 1-13.

Raymond McNamee hit the back of the net twice for Convoy with other goals coming from Peter Blake, Paul O’Leary and Gavin Sweeney.
