A hit and run which resulted in the death of a Co Donegal man is to feaure on RTE’s Crimecall tonight.

Eunan McDevitt from Ballyshannon was fatally injured as he walked along the N15 Ballyshannon to Donegal Road at Parkhill on September 27th last.

The car which struck him failed to stop.

A reconstruction of the incident and a renewed appeal for information will be broadcast on tonight’s Crimecall at 10:15pm on RTE One.

Gardai will again renew their appeal to anyone who travelled the road between midnight on Friday September 27th last and and 12.30am on Saturday morning to make contact with them.

They are also issuing a direct appeal to the driver of the vehicle to come forward to help them establish what happened on the night in question.
