LETTERKENNY GOLF CLUB LADIES CLUB NOTES
Lady Captain Sandra McMonagle has not had time to draw breath since she took office at the recent Ladies Club AGM. Along with the rest of the Centenary Committee she hosted the launch of Letterkenny Golf Club, The Centenary Years 1912 – 2013 by Declan O’Carroll at a lovely evening in the Clubhouse last Thursday.
Since then the committee has been promoting the book in Letterkenny Shopping Centre and books are now available in Easons, Clarke’s Newsagents and through the pro shop and bar in Letterkenny Golf Club.
The Ladies Christmas party takes place this Saturday when all the turkey and hamper winners and friends will ‘gobble’ their festive dinners and take a ‘trot’ out on the dance floor with music by Gerry O’Sullivan. This is always a lovely evening with all the ladies in festive spirit and the Lady Captain hosting her first official ladies event. Good luck to Lady Captain Sandra, her committee and all lady members for the season ahead.

Well done to all turkey and hamper winner who have braved all the elements over the past few months.
Upcoming Events:
Browns on the Green are holding a party on Friday December 21st at a cost of €18.95 per person to include mulled wine, buffet and music.
Christmas draw will take place on December 14th.
New Year’s Eve Party to ring in 2013, our Centenary Year
Quiz nights continue on a Friday night and cards on a Wednesday night.
Book Club meets monthly
Used mobile phones are being collected to obtain a defibrillator for the club – all used mobiles can be left in the collection boxes in the clubhouse.
