Students of Mulroy School of Music are invited to showcase their talents from the Autumn term to their friends and family at a special Christmas party session in Milford this Saturday.
Students will entertain friends and family with magical Christmas hits and with their own favourite tunes of the term.
Tutors have been getting the students ready for the event for a number of weeks and this week saw the final preparations put in place for the Christmas session.
Fiddles, button accordions, uileann pipes, tin whistles, guitars, pianos, flutes and mandolins have been roaring out of Mulroy Music in preparation with a lot of sore fingers followed!
After the Christmas session they will have some light refreshments of mulled wine, mince pies, teas and coffees and not forgetting to impress the musicians with fresh cakes, sweets and juices!
Said Grace Shields: “Massive thanks to all our tutors for all their hard work and dedication to all the students over the last term. Many thanks goes to Declan Mc Clafferty, Mary Agnes Cullen, Louise Mc Kinney, Mick Deniffe and Martin Crossan. We’ve all grown fondly of you here at Mulroy Music and you can see that all the students adore you all.
“Of course we can’t be forgetting the taxis! To all the mammies, daddies, grannies, granddads, friends and guardians who dropped off, picked up and listened to the practicing efforts of all our students- thank you to each one of you because with your support the students wouldn’t have the courage to play their instruments and express their musical talents.”
