Donegal was again amongst the winners on Winning Streak last night.

Housewife Mary McDaid didn’t get to spin the wheel but she managed to scoop a super €43,100.

Mary, from Carndonagh, was joined by family and friends in the RTE studios.

Those who joined Mary included husband Michael and son Michael John, who Marty gave a good rubbing to as he still lives at home – at 28!

The mum of three also said hello to her daughter Sinead who is living in Canada and cannot get home for Christmas.

She told host Marty Whelan that she planned to pay off a few bills and perhaps go on a holiday.

Well that’s the ESB and phone bill paid for a few months now Mary!
