The U21’s had another thrilling victory in their championship semi-final against a gallant St. Michael’s, coming out on top by a single point on a score of 1-07 to 0-09. Jordan McBride was the Black & Amber hero when he saved a late penalty and rebound to keep the lead intact. Conor Gibbons chipped in with 1-05 of the tally from centre-forward. They will take on N. Conaill in this Sunday’s (Dec. 23rd) decider in Convoy with a 1pm throw-in.
The 1972 – 74, 3-in-a-row winning Minor football squads are holding a 40 year Reunion in the Clubhouse on Saturday, December 29th at 8:30pm, for more details contact Christy Callaghan on 085-7038194.
The Minor Board Presentation will take place in the Mt. Errigal Hotel on Sunday, January 20th. Tickets will be on sale early in the new year.
We are hoping to take down the remaining flags and bunting on Thursday, Dec. 27th (after the U21 Final is played). The town should be reasonably quiet and we could do with some help – especially from people with vans and ladders!
