Tragic Shannon Gallagher had planned to start a new life in Scotland after her sister Erin took her own life.

Shannon, 15, who was found dead last week, had agreed to move overseas to start a new life.
Grandad Seamus revealed how he asked Shannon to move to Scotland to start a fresh life with him after Erin’s tragedy.
The sports-mad fourth year pupil at Finn Valley College in Stranorlar agreed to move but said she wanted to finish her Leaving Cert first.
Grandfather Seamus said he is heartbroken that he never got the chance to give Shannon a second chance.
Heartbroken Seamus said “I spoke to her about it and she said she wanted to finish her Leaving Cert first and then come over.
“We all know Shannon was sports-mad and she told me she wanted to become a PE teacher.
“I live only 20 minutes from a college in Scotland and Shannon said she would come over and try and start afresh over there.
“It’s just so sad that she couldn’t see that she had so much to live for.”
Erin took her life amidst claims that she was being bullied at school and also online.
The girls’ devastated mum said she believes Shannon then took her life because she couldn’t go on without her sister and best friend.
“They did everything together and I know Shannon just couldn’t go on without Erin.
“Part of her already died when Erin died and she just couldn’t go on,” she said.
Lorraine Gallagher said she is now concentrating on making Christmas as normal as possible for her other child Sean James, 4.
“Sean was the light of the girl’s lives. I don’t know how I am going to celebrate Christmas and, to be honest, it means nothing to me now.
“But I need to make sure that Sean James has the best ever Christmas.
“He knows Erin is dead but I haven’t told him about Shannon – it’s too much for him.
“I will tell him in time but I just have to get over Christmas first,” she said.
Lorraine also confirmed through her solicitor Patsy Gallagher that she is suing Donegal Vocational Education Committee (VEC) for negligence over the death of her daughter Erin.
