GARDAI SEAL OFF HOUSE AFTER MAN FOUND SHOT DEAD

BREAKING NEWS: Gardai have sealed off a house in Ballybofey after a man was found shot dead.Garda tape

The man, who was in his 60s, was found by a family member at the house in the townland of Curraghmore.

Gardai were called and the area was immediately sealed off.

The man’s body remained at the scene all day and is expected to remain there tonight.

Forensics officers began an investigation into the incident.

However, it is understood that scenes of crimes officers want to revisit the scene tomorrow (SAT) as light was fading when the body was discovered.

Gardai are keeping an open mind on the incident and have not stated if any crime has been committed.

The house was sealed off and a number of people have been questioned informally as part of a routine investigation into the incident.
