GARDAI have now ruled out foul play after a man was shot dead in Ballybofey.

The development came after an autopsy on Saturday.

The scene of the shooting had been preserved and Garda crimes of scene officers had been carrying out tests at the house at Curraghmone.

A legally-held shotgun was found at the scene, however Gardai were initially suspicious after a number of footprints were found in the house.
