CELTIC and Ireland goalkeeping legend Packie Bonner was back on home turf today – to help boost tourism in Donegal.
Packie was filiming at Finn Park today as part of The Gathering.
“Donegal is my home county and is a very special place in my heart and no matter where I go I always think about home,” said Packie.
“I’m delighted that I can support The Gathering. This year is going to be a great year for people to come home to Donegal.”
Said Finn Harps secretary John Campbell: “Harps are delighted that Packie was here we look forward to seeing the film he is making.
“Packie was superb. He took time to meet both the Harps and Waterford Under 19 teams who were playing in the Elite Under 19 National League.”
It was a good day for Harps – they beat Waterford 2-1.
