This was always going to be a tense affair in Drumbar with no team willing to give up local bragging rights. There was a minutes silence before the game for the Copany captain Aaron Scott who died just before the Christmas break, he play some underage for Drumbar also. Copany got off to the perfect start when David Graham(10mins) tapped in from six yards after a defensive mix up. Drumbar got one back through David Giblin(30mins) after a free kick fell kindly for him. Just on the stroke of half time Ciaran Nixon(45mins) passed it home after a goal mouth scramble.
The second half was a bit more open and half chances going to both sides, when Shane Walsh(70mins) put in a great ball which the home defence failed to deal with.
Best for Copany Thomas Given, While Cialion Loughney and Daniel Bennett had great games.
