STUDENTS from Colaiste Ailigh in Letterkenny picked up four awards at the BY Young Scientist of the Year exhibition in Dublin.

Principal Michael Gibbons said he was delighted for all the students who took part.

Colaiste Ailigh students Eoghan O Brollachain, Ultan Farrell and Conor O Luadhog and their teacher Shane O Breacan with their highly commended award. Their project isolated and tested different pigments for the best electrical output on a Ti20 dye-sensitised solar cell.
