Chairperson Neil Martin said that there are now no tickets left for the 37th staging of the event which has once again demonstrated its popularity with Donegal’s sporting public.

“It’s a full house for tomorrow night. We have over 550 booked in. That includes the nominees, their families, friends, supporters along with all the invited guests. There are no tickets left.

“We’re delighted with the response once again from all sports in the county who continue to support our awards function in huge numbers every year” Mr Martin said.

2012 was a fantastic year for the county in terms of successes in a cross section of sports and the achievements of 150 nominees will be recognized this Friday night where the special guest for the Donegal County Council sponsored function is the Irish Olympic Boxing Coach, Billy Walsh.
