A man found at the bottom of stairs at an apartment block at the rear of a pub in Dungloe after 1am this morning has been removed to Letterkenny General Hospital.
Gardai have sealed off the area beside the apartment at lower Main Street Dungloe and it is being forensically examined by scenes of crimes officers from Letterkenny.
The injured man – age unknown – is understood to have sustained serious injuries.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who was in the Main Street area in the early hours of this morning to contact them.
