GAA NEWS: NAOMH ULTAN CLUB NOTES

Royal Flush Draw – Royal Flush Draw results for the weekend of 03/02/2013 were 7, 9, 17 & 24. There was no winner of the jackpot of €660. Consolation prizes went to Micheal Boyle, Curraghfeehan, Teresa Howley & Dermot Alvey. Next week’s jackpot now stands at €700.

 

25 Card Drive – The 25 card drive continues on Wednesday nights. It commences at it’s usual time of 8:30.pm.

 

Monthly Meeting – The club’s next monthly meeting will take place on Monday February 11th at 8pm upstairs in the clubhouse.

 

Membership – Membership for the oncoming year can be paid as of now and up until the beginning of February. Please note how important membership is, it’s values were shown last year during the scramble for All-Ireland Tickets. €30 – General Membership, €50 – Senior/Reserve, €30 – Student/Unemployed, €20 – Minior, €15 – U16’s to U10’s and €70 – Family Membership.

Sponsored Swim – A reminder to any participates of the St. Stephen’s Day Sponsored Swim who have yet to return their sponsorship money to please do so as soon as possible. It can be given to the club treasurer Margaret McNicholas or any other committee member. Again many thanks to all who took part in and supported the event.

 

Senior Presentation Night – The Senior Presentation Night will take place on Saturday February 9th in MacLaughlin’s Point Bar.

Senior Management – The club would like to announce Brendan McGready as new senior manager. Brendan is a former player and takes the reigns haven’t managed St Nauls for a couple of years. We wish Brendan and his backroom team the very best for the year ahead

Royal Flush Winner – Vice-Chairperson John Boyle and Club Treasurer Margaret McNicholas presenting Joe Kennedy with his Royal Flush Winnings of €5960 last week. Once again the club are delighted to see the jackpot, which was rolling over for almost two and a half years, go to such a great club man like Joe. The winning ticket was sold on Saturday Dec 29th by Daniel McGlynn and Patrick White. We at the club wish Joe all the best with his winnings.
