FANAD MAN STEVE FACES TOUGHEST FIGHT OF HIS CAREER

Fanad native Steve Coll, one of Ireland’s top mixed martial artists & Brazilian Jiu jitsu fighters faces one of the biggest challenges of his career this weekend.

Fighting for the sold out Chaos Fc lightweight title this Saturday in Derry, Steve faces Brian Moore of the world famous Straight Blast Gym.

Stephen regularly fights in front of 3000+ people, and his fight’s can be seen on Sky sports, Setanta sports & a host of tv stations around the world.

In his last fight he came up against Norman Parke, winner of last months American reality tv show “The Ultimate Fighter”

Also on the card is Rathmullan’s Mark Barrett, also fighting out of the Letterkenny based Rilion Gracie club. Mark is making his Semi Professional debut.

Steve also runs the Rilion Gracie Jiu Jitsu & Mixed martial arts academy full time along with business partner & fellow trainer Brian Coyle at Port Road Letterkenny, where they offer classes in Self defense, Mixed Martial arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as fitness & kids classes.

Since opening in 2010 the club has been hugely successful on both a national & international level, with both Steve & Brian recently travelling to Miami & beating off competition from all around the world to take home medals from the international Brazilian Jiu jitsu tournament.

The club’s amatuer fighters also won the Irish MMA league, beating teams from all over the country in the process. For anyone looking to get fit or learn a martial art they can call into the club for a free trial class. www.riliongracieireland.ie
