DONEGAL’S GAP TOURISM GROUP LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO GO THE EXTRA MILE!

GAP Tourism are looking for a suitable candidate to organise, promote and enhance their established outdoor events – the GAP Challenge and GAP Triathlon.Ardara stone

The group based in the Glenties, Ardara and Portnoo areas have for a number of years run successful outdoor events, but always on a voluntary basis.

As GAP grows, there could be an opportunity for someone, who could dedicate more time to organising the events to increase the number of participants, and by extension, the number of visitors to the area.

Other similar events could also be organised for this stunning region of Donegal.

In these dark economic times, the Group are proud to offer their event portfolio, in the firm belief that in the hands of a driven organiser, it will significantly add to the tourist footfall and spend for the area.

The remuneration package will be driven by the volume of participants for the events (minus expenses) and has significant earning potential.

Further information on the events, their history and the event planning can be made to donegalgap@gmail.com. Please submit a C.V. and Cover Letter before the 28th of February, 2013.
