The faults hit homes in Buncrana, Donegal Town and Stranorlar.

The biggest outage was in Buncrana where more than 230 homes lost power this morning but ESB crews hope to have it reconnected by 5pm.

A total of 85 homes in Stranorlar were without supply but that has been restored while up to 100 homes lost connection in Donegal Town for a time.
