Sinn Fein Cllr Diarmaid Doherty wants to remind community groups in the Bundoran & Ballyshannon areas that 4pm on friday 15th Febuary is the closing date for receipt of completed application for community funding.
Bundoran Town Council has €18,000 available and special consideration will be given to projects based on community involvement and improving the environment ie housing estates, Tidy Towns etc.
Ballyshannon had a similar amount of funding available to help groups involved in sports and recreation, enterprise development, environmental improvements, tourism, festivals, heritage and cultural activities.
Cllr Diarmaid Doherty said this is a great chance for community groups to avail of much need funds to help them carry on their great work in the Bundoran & Ballyshannon areas. If any groups need help or advice when completing their forms feel free to contact Diarmaid on 086 8068565.
