TWO PEOPLE LEFT TRAPPED AFTER SERIOUS COLLISION

BREAKING NEWS: Gardai are at the scene of a serious two car crash at Burt.

The head-on collision took place just after 3pm.

Three young men traveling in one car have exited their vehicle and are not understood to be seriously hurt.

IT is understood the men’s car flipped onto its roof after the smash.

However a couple in the other car are still trapped in the vehicle.photo

Emergency services, including two ambulances, have now arrived on the scene.

One eye-witness told Donegal Daily “I don’t know how anybody walked away from the smash.

“The emergency services were on the scene very quickly and are treating people now.

“I hope everyone is okay but it looks pretty bad,” said the man.

People driving in the area have been asked to take extra care.
