DDTV: SHINING THE SPOTLIGHT ON THE LIVING TRADITION – AT FIRST LIGHT

DDTV: Award-winning Belfast traditional folk band At First Light are to play their first gig in Letterkenny this week.

Known for pushing the boundaries of Celtic folk music, the band have collaborated with the world’s greatest folk and contemporary artists.

Masterful musicianship from John McSherry, Dónal O’Connor, Francis McIlduff, Ciara McCrickard and their guests, exploring fresh perspectives on the living tradition.

Each member of the group has influenced Celtic folk music and featured on Grammy-award winning recordings.

Their recent album is titled ‘Idir’ and its energy reflects why the band’s international status continues to grow.
