REVEALED: DONEGAL PET RESCUE FORCED OFF THE ROAD DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS

Donegal Pet Rescue AppealDONEGAL Pet Rescue’s operations in the county have ground to a halt after their only van packed up.

The charity which rescues hundreds of animals every month says it’s desperate to get on the road again and urgently needs your help.

“We are finding times very hard at present. With the van out of action we are not able to work to our full potential,” warned spokesman Ryan McCauley.

“We have a major appeal for funds to purchase a van and also a pallet of dog nuts which will feed the dogs in our care for over 3 months. The Pallet of nuts costs in the reign of €900 and they are hoping to be able to spend around €3000 on a van to help the charity keep running smoothly,” said Ryan.

Donegal Daily is backing the charity’s appeal.

“Every single cent will go towards the care of animals,” said Ryan.

“If supporters want to organise events to help us raise this money we’d be very very grateful.

“The charity is continuing to operate but without a van on the road it makes things very difficult,” Ryan told Donegal Daily.
