United by The Holy Spirit – This weekend the parish community congratulates the young adults who received the sacrament of Confirmation. Pentecost saw the birth of a new community, the new People of God. This weekend those who were confirmed here are now the new young adult Christian community in the parish.

 

FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISER PROCEEDS IN AID OF ST PATRICK’S PARISH CENTRE

In the Mill Park Hotel, on 12th March. Local shops will showcase a selection of garments from their current range. From sports wear to classic and fashionable lines all your fashion needs will be met. There will be musical entertainment and spot prizes to be won.

Tickets are €10. Show starts 8.00 pm.

ST JOHN BOSCO CENTRE

The AGM of the St John Bosco Clubs will be held on Friday 8th March at 8pm. Volunteers needed for bingo nights, light duties. New club members welcome, membership fee €10 per person or €48 per family. Squash Court membership for the new year due on the 28th February. Contact Sheanna on 0873581568.

 

CHILDREN’S CRAFT CLASSES At Morna’s Patch, suitable for 3rd, 4th & 5th class pupils. 11.00am – 12.00 starting Saturday 9th March. Booking essential, contact Morna 074 9721659 between 11.00am – 5.30pm.

 

COMMUNITY HEALTH WALKS Free and open to everyone aged 18 and over. Donegal Town, Bank Walk, Tuesdays 11.00am-12.00pm. Starting 12th March.

 

FOUR MASTERS Underage presentation will take place next Sunday March 10th at 6pm in Doms Pier 1. This includes ladies underage players, also county players will be present.

 

LEGHOWNEY NOTES

Leghowney’s production of “It Runs is the Family” will take to the stage on Sunday 10th at 8.30sharp. It will run all week until Friday 15th inclusive with the exception of Wednesday night when there will be no play. It’s an absolutely brilliant play and one not to be missed….

Next Hooley will take place on Wednesday 6th March at 8.30, with music by George Bustard. Admission just €5 and supper served.

 

HURLING & CAMOGIE

Resumes Friday 8th March, Tirchonnail Park. Registration will be available on the evening U8-U10s 6-7pm (€20) and U12s and above 7-8pm (€30). All equipment supplied. Parish Bulletin e-mail address is dtkiltd@gmail.com
