DD SPORTWhist: Ladies. 1st Molly O Hare, Strabane with 175, 2nd was a tie between Berni Mc Cullagh, Sion Mills and Mary Lafferty, Ballybofey with 160. Gents: 1st Maeve Walsh, Killygordon, 2nd John Mc Granaghan, Castlederg with 170 and 3rd Brian Houston, Strabane with 161. 1st Half Bob Glackin, Castlederg with 86. 2nd Half Tommy Murphy, Letterkenny with 94. Snowball next week is €130 for 180 or better. Everyone welcome to St. Marys Hall on Wednesdays at 8:30pm.

 

Robert Emmets: Congrats to Ronan O’Kane on winning our Lotto Jackpot of €1400 at the weekend. Ronan has been a loyal supporter of both club and Lotto over the year and is well deserving of his success and we wish him. The jackpot starts this week again at €1000 and we appeal for your continued support of the Lotto. Our weekly Fri. Night bingo continues to grow in popularity and with new chairs now the comfort of our patrons will be greatly enhanced. Our P. P. Fr. Mc Goldrick must be thanked and complimented on his interest and support of the Hall. We would once again thank Michael Carlin and the C.P.I. Comm. for the loan of their chairs in the past. The final Membership/ Enrollment night will take place in the Clubrooms on this Thur. night 14th. March from 7.30.Only fully paid up Club members will be eligable to be included for draws for tickets for Donegal’s all ticket games

 

Ballylast National School: Sponsored walk will take place on Sunday 24th March at 11:30am. The walk will start at the Riverclub, Castlefinn and go to the school. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Fancy Dress is optional. Adults €5 and Children are free. Everyone is welcome.

 

Messy Hands Baby and Toddler Group: Runs every Tuesday morning in the CPI Centre from11.00am-12.30pm. New members are always welcome and this is a great opportunity to get children socialising from an early age before playschool.

 

Community Walking Group: Runs every Wednesday morning at 10.30am. All new and past members are welcome. This is a great opportunity to come along and get to know people in the local community under the guidance of your local walking leader. St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop: We would like to make an appeal for clothing, bric-a-brac and furniture for our shop. Arrangements can be made to collect or deliver. Items which we are looking for are Coffee Table, Sofa Bed, and 2 4ft beds. If you can help please call

074-9146726.

 

Community Gardening Course: Would you like to learn how to grow your own fruit and veg, avail of the use of a Polytunnell, learn about pests and pesticides and soil testing in the garden? We will be running a six week course most likely on a Thursday or Friday Morning starting early March. If you would like further info please contact Mary/Corina on 074 – 9143976.
