Lagan Harps FC

Our men’s team got back to winning ways with an impressive 2-1 win over Kilmacrennan Celtic in Rathmullen. Kevin Mc Hugh and Drew Connolly were the scorers. Kevin Kelly and Conor Sweeney were particularly impressive. They have a free week this Sunday.

Our u/16’s played Illistrin in The Shield on Saturday and again in the Europa cup on Sunday. They drew 2-2 on Saturday with Gavin Mc Daid scoring two excellent goals. They won 2-1 on Sunday with Shea Mc Daid and Paul O’Brien scoring. Louis Cole and Paul O’Brien impressed in both matches.

Our u/14’s lost 4-0 to Bonagee Utd in a contest that was closer than the scoreline indicated. Hugh O’Donnell and Codey Brogan were best.

In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 6,8,12 and 17. Marty Quinn won E50 for three numbers. Next weeks jackpot is £875.00. Best wishes for a speedy recover to u/16 player Richard Gordon who was ill recently.

Sympathy is extended to the O’Donnell and Brown family circle on their recent bereavement.
