NAOMH ULTAN Royal Flush Draw –

Royal Flush Draw results for the weekend of 10/03/2013 were 5, 15, 19 & 23. There was no winner of the jackpot of €860. Consolation prizes went to Eilish McNern, Drew Cassidy & Manus Boyle, Darney. Next week’s jackpot now stands at €900.

25 Card Drive –

The 25 card drive continues Wednesday nights. It commences at it’s usual time of8:30pm.

Membership –

Membership for the oncoming year can be paid now. Please note how important membership is, it’s values were shown last year during the scramble for All-Ireland Tickets. €30 – General Membership, €50 – Senior/Reserve, €30 – Student/Unemployed, €20 – Minor, €15 – U16’s to U10’s and €70 – Family Membership. It also is extremely important that Player Membership is paid byMonday March 25th, as all players must be individually registered to headquarters in Croke Park. It cannot be stressed enough how important it is for membership to be paid in time. With the first round of the Ulster Championship coming up in June, and it looking as if the fixture will be held in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, meaning tickets will be very scarce due to capacity. Therefore anyone who hasn’t their membership paid by the date above will not be considered for the ticket.

Underage Football –

Our minor amalgamation, St. Johns suffered defeat on Sunday afternoon in a very blustery Fintra. Final score was St. Johns 0-4 Naomh Mhuire 0-12. The side are penned in to play Naomh Columba next Saturday at 12pm in Glen.

5km Walk –

There will be a 5km walk/run in aid of the County Training/Development Fund in Ballybofey on Saturday April 6th at 11am. Anyone interested in taking part are encouraged to come along and wear their county colours.

Senior & Reserve Football –

Both the Senior and Reserves returned to action at the weekend with challenge games against local opposition. On Saturday morning the Reserves played Naomh Brid in Fintra losing out narrowly in the end despite putting up a good fight, whilstSunday morning saw a young Senior side have a comprehensive win over St Nauls in Mountcharles. The games proved a useful run out for both sides as they continue to build momentum and match fitness before the start of the league in three weeks time.
