Monthly club meeting will be in the club-house on Wednesday 20th March at 8.30 pm.. Those still to pay membership/registration can do so on Wednesday 13th and 20th March between 6 and 7 pm.
Last week-end was very successful on the field for our club teams.The seniors had a 1-8 to 0-5 victory away to Termon in the Gaeltacht sinsir and the reserve team had a 0-10 to 0-08 victory away to St Michaels in the Gaeltacht soisear. Both teams now go forward to the next round this coming week-end with the reserve team playing on Saturday at 3pm against Fanad Gaels followed by the senior team again’st Cloughaneely at 4.30 pm 16th March at home.
The minor team got their league campaign off to a great a start with a well deserved win over Milford away on a score-line of 2-7 to 0-8. The minors are at home again’st Termon on Sunday 17th March at 12 pm. Training for U-12 and U-14 girls on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 pm and for U-16 girls on Fridays from 6 to 7 pm.
Fitness classes for ladies with a light 45 minute work-out will be held in the Club hall Glenswilly starting Tuesday 19th March at 6 pm,only 3 euro per session.The winning lotto numbers this week were 5,13,19,20. Match 2 winner was Tony Murray.
Sellers next week are Charlie Gallagher and Eunan McBride and the jackpot is 2020 euro.The clubs Scor competitors had narrow defeats in the Ulster semi-final in Fermanagh on Saturday night past,but a big thank you to all who gave up so much time over the past few weeks in order to represent the Glen.
