A young transition year student from Donegal has made it through to the final of a national film competition.

Bebhinn Naughton, from Abbey Vocational School in Donegal Town, is now hoping to go one step further with her video and put Donegal on the map.

The competition is being run in conjunction with The Gathering to help promote towns around the country.

Bebhinn’s short film was a hugely popular winner as it showcased all Donegal Town has to offer.

The three minute film entitled; Hearts like Mountains, won the regional final on the 6th March and will now proceed to the National final on the 21st March 2013.

Simply click to view Bebhinn’s wonderful film.

Donegal Daily is asking the public to vote for Bebhinn’s film by opening up their you tube account and liking the film, this then registers as a vote.

Part of the marks in the final are for the number of public votes she receives and she is currently behind another region in the voting. GET VOTING FOR YOUR OWN DONEGAL!
