Large crowds thronged Letterkenny’s Main Street today for the town’s annual St Patrick’s Day parade.

Despite threats of torrential downpours, it managed to stay dry for most of the afternoon in the Cathedral Town.

A number of community groups, schools, companies and clubs went the extra mile to make it a great day for young and old alike.

There was dogs. vintage cars, tractors and even a miniature horse on display.

The only complaint was that the day ended so quickly!
