They are 135 years old and the Mullachdubh Fife and Drum Band once again marched proudly through their village on St Patrick’s day.

Three fife and drum bands left Mullachdubh old school with 80 plus members on St’Patricks day to parade the traditional route to mass in Kincasslach.St'Patricks day 2013 part 1, 012

The old Mullachdubh band have marched the route since 1881 and the wee band celebrated 25 years with The Gathering of former members to parade with the current All-Ireland champions to celebrate the quarter century of the Wee Band.

In Mullachdubh the saying is,”Band may come and bands may but The Mullachdubh band goes on forever.”
